For people wondering why gear animations haven't been added. It's because the aircraft models aren't designed with gear animations in mind. When Orange12345 and Samisage had tested the feature, they quickly realized that the gears wouldn't correctly fit into the openings. Adding gear animations would require remodelling almost every aircraft. Which would take an extremely long time to do.
