Hello from the future 🤭. I’m on my second go on this series. Great review. You did an amazing job not spoiling anything. I’ve always described this series as having a Game of Thrones amount of characters. I listened to the audiobooks (both times). Just WOW! Imogen Church narrates and not one character sounds identical. She’s phenomenal and really brings this series to life. If you decide to revisit, I definitely recommend the audiobooks!

I've been looking forward to hearing your review of this! I am a huge fan of political fantasy with well done female characters, so I'll have to put it on my list, although I'll need to make time to read all four, it sounds like. Also, that's so frustrating that it didn't quite manage a strong ending, especially after three strong books beforehand.
