Bose really hit it out of the park with the S1Pro! In some ways it bests all their other products. Super small, 15 pounds, battery operated, Bluetooth, excellent fidelity/output for its size, pole mountable.Pairing two wirelessly in stereo brings it to the next level. Now with the matching Sub1 it becomes a true full range system at its volume limitations. Bose if you are listening we need: S1Pro App needs full 10 band EQ. Sub1 should have full Bluetooth control of volume/mute. Oh yeah Sub1 needs to be battery operated!

I have requested on a Bose forum that the S1 Pro has a High Pass Filter (HPF) on the phone app to match the Low Pass Filter button ( LPF) button on the Sub 1. This way the Sub 1 can take the low end power demands off the S1 pro, batteries will last longer, and sound is clearer in the low to mid range. This would make the S1 Pro / Sub 1 combo even more amazing in flexibility and sound quality.

Very nice. I have already came to the conclusion that I will have to pay for Bose for sure but it is worth it to me. I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos.

Since I'm getting a lot of views on the S1Pro combinations, I've decided to do a more thorough comparison of dB levels with one S1Pro, 2xS1Pros, 1Sub1, 21xSub2s. Should be done in one to two weeks. Keep heads up looking for it.

The advantage of using two S1 Pros: For mid-high frequencies we get +3dB every time we double the number of drivers. One S1Pro max output is109dB, two S1Pros 112dB max SPL output.

Forgot to mention, If you push the subs less than 2 feet from a wall will boost SPL by +3dB. Also want to emphasize the great Bose Connect App which runs the two S1Pros in true L/R stereo, wirelessly.

Are your subs running in mono from the one connection from the left hand S1 PRO? Wouldn't you need to connect another lead to run the subs in stereo? I realise that stereo signal isn't really perceived below say 200Hz, but might you not lose some signal in certain tracks?

This is so cool! Do you think this going to be on par with two L1 Pro 16? Coz I've read in one of the Bose forums that L1 pro 16 subwoofer is similar to the Sub 1.

I’m new to this, in order for me to connect my S1 Pro to Sub1 is a Trs to Trs cable or Trs to XRL cable??

How would it sound if you had the S1 pros paired in stereo mode (via Bose app) and each S1 pro tethered to it's own separate Sub1?

Did you use the phase setting on the subs? + -
It looks like they’re both on the same polarity.

Hi Mr Weiss can you please make a video showing how you connect your S Pro1 to your Sub2 and the wire you used.

Hello! I am interested in the Pro s1 but the Bose website says it is not compatible with an external subwoofer. In the Q&A it says "Can I connect an external subwoofer, such as the Bose B1 bass module, to the S1 Pro multi-position PA system?" Answer from Bose: "No. The system does not support adding bass modules. However, the S1 Pro does provide a reasonable amount of bass from its integrated high excursion woofer." Can someone explain?

Hello there, I recently purchased 2 S1pro and 1 Sub1. One day I used bluetooth on one speaker and wired the second speaker from the first one with bluetooth because I don't want to depend on the Bose app to use both speakers. I noticed the wired speaker was producing louder and better sound than the one via bluetooth. Any idea why this was happening? Also is it better to go through bass fist then speaker or vice versa? And last any suggestions for a power station to juice up the Sub1? Thank you.

but, If you run it through the speaker first, you’re not cutting a little wins and taking a load off the S1’s

I have 2 "S1 Pro's" that I want to have in my living room. We love super loud music in our household. The music we listen to has alot of bass. So I was thinking of getting 2 "Sub 2s" to place my "S1 Pro's" on them using the Bose speaker pole. I want 2 uniform sets for left and right. I figure it would look weird to have just one "S1 Pro" sitting on a "Sub 2" and the other one on some tripod pole like the setup in your video. I also noticed you mentioned that the "Sub 1's" work best when next to eachother and that having 2 apart defeats the purpose. Will you recommend 2 "Sub 1's" over 2 "Sub 2's" using the "S1 Pro's" ? Will 2 "Sub 2's" really be an overkill?

Would you recommend sub 2's with the s1 pro's? Instead of the sub 1's?
