Why Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown & Celtics will DOMINATE Eastern Conference playoffs | Hoops Tonight

Jason Timpf and the Nerd Sesh guys debate whether there is anybody in the East who can stop Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics. Will Giannis Antetokounmpo’s calf injury prevent the Bucks from having a shot? Can Joel Embiid finally break through after struggling against the Celtics in the past? Or do the New York Knicks have enough star power alongside Jalen Brunson to truly challenge Boston?

The soleus is a large muscle on the back of your lower leg. This powerful muscle arises from the back of your shin bone and attaches to your heel bone as part of the Achilles tendon. The soleus muscle is active during activities like walking, running, and jumping.

Having the heat and knicks as the two threats in the east when the 76ers are close to healthy is pretty silly

We lose 2 games in shut down mode at the end of the season and people freak.

I think the bucks are still the main threat to the Celtics, just because Lillard can find his game at any given time. And they have Middleton who could also get a really good series. And Giannis is Giannis. 4 wins against the Celtics is too much to ask from Brunson.

I’d be more worried with other teams if I was the bucks. Bucks beat them twice by double digits, lose twice by a total of 6 points

Even with the Bucks fully healthy I don’t think they’re beating the Celtics four times and it’s for as simple a reason as this: the inconsistency of this season’s team from one game to the next leaves me doubting they can win two games in a row never mind a series against the team that’s probably been the MOST consistent team in the NBA this season and hasn’t had more then a two game losing streak this season.

The regular season informs us on each team and it seems like that’s what this season has to say about these two this year.

And before anyone says, “well this guy hasn’t been healthy or that guy didn’t play a lot, ” isn’t that the point? The Celtics have been healthy which has led to consistency. The Bucks haven’t been able to be consistent because guys are in and out of the lineup and then the team struggles to find that consistency when they’re back again. Maybe that doesn’t tell the whole story, but there’s been something going on with this team all season that has led to the inconsistency of their play.
