This voice database is based on the vocals of singer-songwriter, "Ninezero."

It is best suited for hard rock and heavy metal music, as it has a powerful sound that refuses to get buried even in the loudest performances. It features deep growls, soaring high tones, and emotional, breathy releases, all of which cannot be expressed by conventional singing voice synthesis. Ninezero is also well-suited for soul music.

Right. Overall, pretty happy with this. But his tone doesn't feel very dynamic, he's incredibly strong on all notes, giving the impression he's CONSTANTLY yelling. Would love to hear some softer vocals to contrast the sheer power of his high notes.

This is very interesting. I bought 2 VBs already and really after a great rock singer to use for demos. Here's an idea for Dreamtonics...let us (the buyers) pick voices. Audition 4 or 5 different rock singers and let us hear them first so we can vote on what we like best. Also, a demo of this voice bank would be great. One we could try? Also, is he english or chinese or what??

He just sounds like every Australian who puts on an American accent to sing. This is due to the voice provider, of course, not necessarily the software. I also have this complaint with the large majority of Australian music artists.
Although I do worry that all the cross-lingual VBs are slowly sounding the same, being trained on the same data.

Very impressed with the unique vocal style/sound though. Like, personally, I hate it, but it's an AMAZING vocal style to have in a VB. Sounds perfectly human. Good job, Dreamto!
