PS if you're actually wondering how to solve a head lice problem, treatments can only help you to an extent because the eggs of lice are very resistant. The key is to do a treatment so that a lot of the lice is gone and then regularly comb out the newborn lice so that they don't grow to a stage where they lay more eggs. Breaking this life cycle is the complete solution. Also you would need to change your combs and pillow cases and thoroughly clean your things.

I remember getting lice when I was in 2nd grade. Worst month of my life lol! It took about 5 hours for us to get all the lice out because my mom looked through each strand of hair individually.

I remember as a kid having lice and when I found one, I grew strangely attached to it. He was my best buddy in those few minutes of his life. My brother had to kill it and I cried. LOL

fun fact: We went through yearly lice check-ups at my middle school. One year, I failed it, the lady said I had lice. I told my mom and she was furious!! I got suspended for a minimum of three days. Within those three days, my hair died from all the tugging and searching my mom did through my hair. She kept saying she didn't see any. We went to the school nurse after the three days and she said there were no lice, it looked like a whole bunch of dandruff. The dang lady confused dandruff for lice and I got suspended for it!! no pillows were changed, all we did was run a lice comb through my hair and got a bunch of dandruff. Safe to say my hair has never had dandruff again.

Just an FYI. If u r unable to find treatment shampoo. Use olive oil, a shower cap, gloves, paper towels, a rat tail comb, and nit comb saturate hair and scalp and place shower cap on hair for an hour minimum. Treat as usual. Use either head n shoulders shampoo or tea tree based shampoo.
