I am starting to think that the writers of WatchMojo have not visited many countries.... a lot of those things are common in other countries.

The "white bread" one seems odd. As a European that's travelled around quite a bit, I can safely say that most European countries have some sort of sliced bread, more or less white/non-nutritious as well. We also have pharmaceutical ads on tv, probably less and less weird ones than in the US bc afaik you can only advertise over-the-counter stuff here.

In America guns are a right and healthcare is a privilege.
In the rest of the world, guns are a privilege and healthcare is a right.

The drinking age was lowered to 18 in the early 1970s. There was such an increase in alcohol abuse and alcohol related highway deaths involving 18, 19 and 20 year olds, that Congress raised the age back up to 21 and tied it to the highway funding for the states.

Voting before drinking pisses me off, especially since you’re considered a legal adult at 18.

sliced bread is common in Africa. Free refills can be found in South Africa. In fact, several of the things on this list are common across the world.

One thing I have noticed is that US chocolate, like Hershey’s, can taste like sour milk, compared to European chocolate.
Also, when I visited the US, I was shocked by the large portion sizes in restaurants, even for the starters.
