He was sold to Hong Kong soon after this and suffered a career-ending injury before he had a chance to run out there!

I can think of about 20 really exciting horses who have left these shores for Hong Kong in recent times and about a dozen of them proved to be disastrous purchases whilst the vast majority of the rest have only had moderate success.

Poor old Tatsumaki(now known as Lightning Warrior) was probably the best of the lot. That horse would've won loads of money for his owners if he'd stayed over here but they shipped him off to Hong Kong as soon as a decent offer came in for him and he hasn't been seen since!

He picked up serious injuries last October and this October and will probably be retired before too long.

Waipero looks good I hope he has a chance in the derby, I bet him by mistake ante post I was confused about the runners I thought he was second in the derby trail at lingfield, I hope it's fate

He beats them all nicely. But it was a disappointing race. I'm not saying never, but extremely unlikely the Derby winner comes from this race
