Destiny PlayStation 4 Official Announcement

Earlier this week, Bungie and Activision officially announced that Destiny would be shipping on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. On February 20th, 2013, Bungie co-founder Jason Jones shared a simple message with PlayStation fans around the world:

Destiny is being developed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with both versions available at Destiny's launch.

I remember watching this announcement during the PlayStation conference in February 2013. I was 13 and playing Resident Evil 6 when I heard about the various next-gen games being shown: Watch Dogs, Driveclub, Knack, and yes, Destiny. I tuned in and I was simply in awe at what I saw and that marked the beginning of my journey into this community. It's been a rough and eventful ride after nearly a decade. It makes me emotional reflecting on how long I've been playing.

I was looking forward to visiting the Reef, but it turns out that it was only there as a selectable area in order to play two cutscenes.

I see scenes from expansions but this is from before the game came out they literally cut out pieces of the game and resold it as dlc that's activision for you

It blows my mind to see this beauty of art, and then the actual game. Don´t get me wrong, Destiny is amazing but it could be so much better... The Arena of Pogoth looks a lot bigger and the Reef also looks amazing with the patroling fallen. The story of the queen and her brother never existet in the main game. It´s so sad that everything was cut of that game. Please do us a favor bungie and make Destiny 2 greater than that ! There is so much Story and Lore in this game that everyone wants to know... but actually never gets to see i think...
