I thought I'd seen it all - until I saw the dog who brought home an elephant!😂

The opening scenes for this video are of Bella, the elephant and Tara the dog from at least six or seven years ago. They were the best of friends for a few years and were ADORED on the net. Then came the terrible day when Tara was not to be found anywhere, and Bella went looking for her in the woods in the elephant sanctuary, where they lived, which I believe is in Tennessee. They were incredibly popular Internet stars. Bella found Tara’s body, out in the acreage, very most likely attacked and killed by coyotes. She then carried her back to the Sanctuary in her trunk and mourned for weeks. It was one of the most heartbreaking stories to ever be on the Internet and millions of us, their fans, cried like babies for days when the story broke. It’s still breaks my heart to this day.

The elephant and dog in this video are Tara and Bella. Bella was a stray who showed up at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. She and Tara became bestfriends. Sadly, Bella was killed by coyotes a number of years back. It was so sad. You could tell Tara was seriously mourning the loss of her friend. 😪
