ok so I’ve got a idea for a blind trading variant that completely changes the game n I call it SPELL SLOTS

At the start of the episode, Jon & Sotus decide how many items they want to play for. Commonly 16-20. Let’s say they pick 18, plus double redemption.
Instead of items, each player now has 20 spell slots.

Spell slots are like their D&D counterparts in that the more you use at once, they more powerful they are. Quite simply, a spell slot is an item.

Spend one slot on a turn (the minimum), you get to deal or no deal.

Spend two, you can get two items using a 2-item power-up of your choice, such as double column, up/down/left/right or knight.

Spend three, you can use a 3-item power-up like triple column or tic-tac-toe.

Decide how many spell slots you want to spend before you roll. But you can pick which power-up to use after.

The real kicker is that you don’t have to play a predetermined amount of turns. You just play until you run out of spell slots. If you want to spend them all in 3 turns & have 3 banger power-ups, you can do that! If you just want to deal or no deal 20 times, you can do that too!

These are pretty extreme examples, but you get the idea. Spend 20 slots, get 20 items

Your redemption rolls use spell slots too! Say Jon & Sotus have gotten their 18 items from each other. Sotus got 3 black markets from Jon, & Jon only got one from Sotus. If Sotus doesn’t want to risk his low odds of rolling his black market off, he can spend his redemption slots on 2 normal rolls, or a two-item power-up, getting two more items from Jon.

So Jon takes off two items he rolls & goes down to 16 items. But Sotus gets two more items from him & he goes back up to 18. Both players always trade the same amount of items at the end.

2-item:
Double Column
Up/down/left/right
Knight
Jon Sucks At Counting (also called: Athena Sucks at Counting) (roll 1-6. Move that many times. Get the item you land on & the one you move to)
Mirror (Get the item you land on & count to the same spot in your inventory. The opponent must add an item of the same points to their trade)
Soul Redemption (used during redemption) (redeem an item. Your opponent must add an item of the same points to their trade)


3-item
Triple Column
Tic-tac-toe (choose a winning tic-tac-toe)
Rooted (get the item, then go to the bottom corners of that item. Roll 1-5 for each & go down that many items)
Astral Planing (count to the same spot in Alphabetical, Most Recent, and Quality filters. Get all 3 items)


4-item:
4 Corners
Chose Your Stack (pick a column 1-7. Get every item on the screen in that column)
Tetris (choose a Tetris shape to make)
Double Column Double Row (Double Column, but you get to roll 2 rows)
Chewbacca’s Yell (get the item & 3 above, below, left, or right)


5-item:
4 Corners (get the item & the 4 corners around it)
Milkshake (get 4 items up & one to the left or right at the top)
Knockout Punch (get the item, then 1 up or down, then 3 to the left or right. Get every item)


6-item:
3-2-1 (get the item you landed on & the 2 to the right, then the 2 below, then the 1 below that)
Holy Cross (get the item, the 4 around it, and the one 2 below)
Field Goal (make a football goalpost. The item you land on is at the bottom of the goal)


7-item:
Full Row
Spider-man (choose an item 1-4 for each column
Hourglass (get the item you landed on, & the 3 above & 3 below)
One Ring to Rule Them All (get every item surrounding the one you landed on, except for one that your opponent chooses)
Ceiling Shot (Start in column 1 on the row you rolled, then move down a row for each column you move right)


8-item:
Double Choose Your Stack (same as Choose Your Stack, but you pick two columns)
Candy Cane (get the item, then 4 up, then 2 over & 1 down left/right)

Have you ever thought to rematch either of them since you’ve gotten a lot better over the last year or so? I love watching your daily videos to see how far you have come in skill level!! Right now watching the 2v1 of Rizzo& Sizz vs you back in 2019. Would be awesome to see you recreate that with your newly improved skills!!
