About Us:
Studio J Dance is based in Melbourne, Australia. We train in numerous Indian dance styles including classical, fusion, semi-classical and Bollywood. Founded by Jaya Karan in 2016, StudioJ currently has 12 teachers, with specialised classes running daily. The energy, the coordination, the steps - absolutely outclass! The lady in the middle clearly is the ‘alpha’ leading this fabulous group. What clarity of movement, excellent footwork and performing with the appropriate expressions - the ‘bounce’ she does till the middle of the song makes all the difference and you can tell when she stops doing it. I wonder if that is an element of Kathak? Zabardast! Maza aa gaya 👌🏻👌🏻
