To accept Jesus as our savior we need to recognize that we are weak, sinners, and that we need Him in our moments of suffering and anguish to give us comfort and peace to face the difficulties of our life on earth.
When we accept Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross, our story changes:
We are no longer condemned to an eternity without God, instead we are called His children and become part of His Heavenly Kingdom.
Those who accept Jesus must obey His teachings and choose to live a life of obedience.
We are only truly happy when we receive God's love through Jesus Christ!

The 10 commandment shows the character of God. No fallen man can keep it fully so the Israelites were being blessed through the offering of sacrifices signifying the sacrifice of Christ to come. The blessing of God was helping them with strength to keep the Lord's instruction and when they fall the sacrifice cleanses them to recieve blessing again so they can be strengthened to follow

If one breaks any of the last 9 commandments, s/he has broken the 1st too. That's why Jesus brought them to just two - Love God & Love your neighbour. What Great God we serve.
