I still have my old Brass Deluxe with metal coins and linen finish components - I just love that oldschool look :D. Plus, it's much easier to carry around than that big box of Lancashire. I do have Brass: Birmingham though and I simply love it, it's a stellar game and probably an even better design. I couldn't force myself to replace my old Brass Deluxe with Lancashire though - ugly or not, it's a part of history that I don't want to trade away ;).

Call it coincidence, it was just 30 minutes ago that I checked if you had any coverage on Brass. Only found the coverage you did 5 years ago. Glad you are covering it again in its modern shell! Here's hoping you also touch on the Birmingham changes in this one.

I think the new art makes the game easier to get played, but harder to actually play.

I think the Iron Clays are a bit light. Prefer weightier poker chips. But they’re better than cardboard tokens.
