Synopsis:
"Wild Carpathia" is a three-part travel documentary series presented by Charlie Ottley, exploring the scenic beauty and rich culture of the Romanian Carpathian mountains. Romania has a huge virtually-untouched area of mountains almost the size of Britain. It is the heavily-forested home to some of Europe's most exciting species, including alpine Chamois, and particularly large carnivores like Brown Bears, Wolves and the elusive Lynx. Much of the area is a time-capsule with an almost-medieval life-style. In the second episode Charlie Ottley explores the stunning southern Carpathians; starting at the majestic Iron Gates on the Serbian Border, crossing Saxon Transylvania, and ending in the Danube delta.

A 2 room apartment in Bucuresti is 180k EUR. These forests are cut down for a car and an apartment. If you think they make millions of forest explotation you are wrong. Would the Scandinavians cut down their forests for so little, of course not. They make that money easily in a year. We romanians never make this much.

It's a shame how Mehedinti as a county is mismanaged and especially Baile Herculane 3:00

Minunat filmulet.

we the descendants of romans are very proud of the Saxon heritage in Transsylvania what we never built but populated with enough of our kind of Roma so all the Saxons fled...in the meantime we cut down the forests...and started domesticating the bears in our towns and backyards
