Coronavirus and the Church of England - BBC Newsnight

Since the start of the UK’s lockdown at the end of March 2020, religious groups have been unable to attend their normal places of worship, as mosques, churches, synagogues and temples remain shut under government coronavirus rules.

But what's next for the Church of England as the lockdown begins to ease?

Stephen Smith reports from Liverpool.

Unfortunately, prayers do not help against the coronavirus. The virus did not have enough money to buy new AirPods, and it brazenly does not hear them.

My church hasn't kept in touch with me during covid. I was still working and giving money but not one person called me. I called a few to check on them but no one called me. Even Andrew Wommack ministries called me to see if I needed prayer for anything. Nice.

God is not in churches, people go to church to celebrate as a community. Without churches, people are creative in giving to onr another. I love that!

Long ago, around year 1530, King Henry VIII had nuptual problems and had a tiff with the Catholic Pope of the time because the Pope did not allow Henry to remarry. As a result came the Act of Supremacy and the Church of England was established on account of the aforesaid nuptual problems. Thus, the United Kingdom has had problems with coordinating with central Europe. In modern times, we have Brexit as another example of problems with coordinating with central Europe. Thus, the Church of England has a fairly dubious basis. However, in an my experience, I have met lots of arrogant conceited Church of England vicars that live in "cloud cuckoo land", totally out of touch with contemporary society and its values.

The church of Jesus Christ is still open trust me. It's spiritually dead churches that are closed. They're the ones who do not know God or His resurrection power

Most religions to varying degrees are there to create divisions in society, so I really can't feel sorry that this is happening.

Didn't the all knowing, all seeing god create the Corona virus? Yes he must have if you believe in man made myths. Whilst on the current topics of statues being torn down..can we see the churches, religion who said it was fine to have slaves in the bible torn down? Any statue of any religious person taken down please..because there was and is no greater murderer, molester, war mongerers, torturers, enslavers than religion..they've killed millions over thousands of years. Also how about kings and queens they are complicit too. They killed, enslaved and tortured. It seems protesters have little knowledge of history. Just imagine what mankind could achieve without a fallacious man made myth that is religion? Luckily mankind is turning away from religion let's hope it speeds up the process..indoctrination of children with religion is nothing more than abuse...and the church know all about abuse.
