The reason that there is a pass option for stars is because, if the player goes to the bathroom, the other players can grab the controller and make the person skip the star.

Super Mario Party hasn’t gotten any new content since it came out. :-/

Edit: Okaaay, we finally got an update, but it just means we can play the main board game mode online. We still haven’t gotten any new boards.

Fun Fact : If you actually decide to pass, Toadette will be shocked by your decision and ask you again if you want the star. If you pass again, Toadette will let you proceed and call you a weirdo.
