To some commenters... This gentleman’s electric wheelchair may have gotten stuck or ran out of power on the tracks. Just because someone is senior or handicapped, it doesn’t mean they need someone with them at all times.
P.S. Great rescue. Let’s hear it for the officer.🙌

Knowing what I know from taking care of my elderly grandpa as he was slowly dying from terminal illness; I know one fact, he was very depressed with the end of his life and the quality of it. He wished for death many times and it made me very sad.
that sad part is in this case I think the man where was where he wanted to be, notice as he is not screaming for help or even trying to get off the tracks. I am pretty certain he was trying to commit suicide.

For those who are wondering he did not try to commit suicide he was just stuck while trying to cross. He lost his lef leg and broke his right one. I hope hes alright
