Former Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt says the NHS is not on track to achieve its goal of diagnosing three-quarters of all early stage cancers by 2028.

A report by the Health and Social Care Committee warns that cancer survival rates in England are at risk of "going in reverse".

The Health Committee Chair says the pandemic was a major blow to cancer diagnosis and treatment but the lack of staff was a problem before and continues to be the biggest issue going forward.
