Percent Ionization, like equilibrium expressions, is a way for chemists to quantify the extent of a reaction. The extent of a reaction is how much of the products have been produced compared to the original amount of reactants.

What if I don't have concentrations. I need to know the pH solvent needs to be, in order for it to ionize a drug, when I am only given the pka of the drug (weakly acidic pka=4.69) and for % ionized 5%, 20% etc..
