Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review! (After 3 Months)

i'm an android user and i have had the iphone for 3 months. iphone is buttery smooth. The size of the 6 plus is nice. the complaints i hear are so knit picky. it's funny.

One of the most unbiased reviews on any phone i have ever seen. Well done, you spoke very professionally and did not do the whole android vs iOS rant. You pointed out the flaws and perks of iPhone without making yourself sound like a critic. You mentioned the Samsung note 4 very subtle-like and let the viewer know that the iPhone is not the only impressive phone on the market without sounding like an obnoxious android slave. You are simply ignorant if you think that the iPhone 6 plus is a more impressive phone in terms of specs than the note 4, but it most certainly is still an elegant piece of art that can be a fantastic daily phone.

The battery life of the Plus is absolutely nuts. I too am more of an Android guy, and can't seem to let the Plus go as my daily driver. The cameras, battery life, integration with my rMBP, and the screen of the Plus make it a must have for me.

Just a friendly advice. Use a hand lotion before doing these reviews :-) And by the way, if you scratched its screen first day you got the phone, you're a klutz.  As for its "reachability" feature, yes, I use it sometimes. Not a whole lot, but it serves its purpose quite well.  Let's be logical.  Phones this size are really for 2 handed use anyway.  I don't know what more change you want.  Split screen is nothing more but a gimmick feature for me.  It is cool, but I don't think I would be using that a lot even if the iPhone6 Plus has it.  Why? Think about it.  I got the iPhone6 Plus so I can get a bigger display, now you want me to split the contents in half?  Yes, I 'm sure you can think of a task that could make use of the split screen, but still, even with a 5.5 inch display, it would still be tiresome to work on.  If we're talking about the iPad, then yes it would make more sense.

I feel like you judged to the 6plus for being a big phone when they clearly created the big model for the people like like bigger resolution and the smaller model for people that like the smaller phones. Thats like me buying and XL T shirt and then getting upset because its so big and doesn't adjust for smaller people...nice review I just think you should be less harsh on the 6plus for being larger.

I used iphone 5 two years ago then switched to sony xperia z2. That's the biggest mistake i had made. Android is good, but it's not very suitable for me. And now in back with 6 plus. Iphone give me everything i need, personally I don't need that 3gb ram or crazy pixel density screen. Everything i need is simple and light phone. And most important after sale service. I think apple is the best company with after sale service. However everyone has their own opinion, let's not argue with them just because they don't agree with us..

Best phone I've owned. Went with android since day one but iOS is a much nicer UX if you ask me. The battery on the 6 plus is great. Watched 5 hours of ufc live last night in 4g and only used 14% battery.

Its a long story, but I have both a 6 and 6+ as well. I really do like both of them. I tend to watch videos on the larger one more, as the larger screen makes it good for that, but videos are still very nice to watch on the 6 too. The one that I picked out was the 6, I prefer the smaller size to carry, my late fiancé did tons of youtube and other video watching, web browsing, it was basically his computer and is phone in one. It did everything he needed or wanted for the most part.

to me this phone is great for iphone users who liked the look of the bigger android phones and the longer battery life but didn't want to switch to the android OS.  I think that the problems of not having software to utilize the larger screen will be fixed in time as apple will likely make more large phones in the future thus creating more demand for apps that utilize the larger screens.

Great video. I do disagree about the desire for higher than 1080p though. To me its really an inconvenience due to more drain on battery.

I actually use Reachability from time to time.
I had two iPhone 6+'s and opted to go and get the iPhone 6 because the size is ridiculous. They could've made the phone with the same screen size with a lot less of a footprint. I also hated using the 6+ as a music player or working out.

I'm getting the iPhone 6 Plus this weekend. I'm coming from an android user to an iPhone. I have the HTC One M8. I'm a bit sceptical, but I've heard good reviews on the 6 Plus and kind of anxious to try it out. I have the 5th generation iPod touch. When I'm fooling around with it, I like the features better the androids. And I'm glad you untouched base on things I've been wondering about ever since it came out. Glad you did. Just got the iPhone 6 Plus yesterday, my 2nd iPhone purchase, my first was the iPhone 1st generation way back when. Since I have been using Android, I love the iPhone 6 Plus so far, only problem is it's Memorial Day Weekend, and my former, and new cell providers are having issues porting numbers back and fourth, not just w/ me, with everyone who got a new phone yesterday...Sometime today I should be fully operational they say. We'll see! My hands are big, so this phone is perfect for me

I just switched from a Note 3 to an I-phone 6 plus. As far as phones go, it's the best thing that I've done. It dose what I need for it to do & it looks better doing it. Straight to the point & it flows like silk. As an long time Android user, I think that it's just over kill & a status symbol.

This is Apple's first phablet. For anyone to expect a company's first shot at something to be as good as the Note 4 (4th iteration) is ridiculous. As Apple gains experience they'll get better, just like how the Note series continues to get even better. So, I can't agree with any comparisons of those 2 devices. As far as Reachability, all I'll say is I use it EVERY single day flawlessly. It's completely innate for me, and has been for months.

I bought the iPhone 6 (not the plus), about 2 months ago and LOVE it! The reach ability feature was a huge deciding factor for me, i use it constantly and love it. I went from a Note2 when it first came out, to an iPhone 4s, simply because I always wanted to try an iPhone. I loved that tiny phone, so the 6 was phenomenal once i got it! I am looking forward to upgrading to the 6plus in rose gold this fall.
