hi sir, firstly thanks for everything you really help me to succed in physics and engineering. i wonder that, how kinetic and static friction can be different when we use the same surface. in my opinion, the same surface = the same mu in all situation. it is confusing for me, can you explain please ?

How would friction and forces change if a magnet was involved? For instance, what are all the forces if a large magnet was on top of a metal wagon? Does it have a reaction force like gravity or friction inbetween the magnet and the wagon? How much force would you have to pull on the wagon to get the magnet to slide? I just would like to know how magnets work when doing free body diagrams. Thanks

Good morning. A question. In the first case (not moving) the mass starts to moving only if I have 50 Nw ( exactly >49Nw), and a =F/m= 1/10= 0.1 m/sec2...is it correct?. And in the 2nd case it is sufficiente an F> 19.6 to starting move the mass :is it correct?

Just confuse when try to find acceleration. How you came up with the acceleration m/sec square when you have Newton divide by Kg?

Sir Why and How kinetic friction doesn't depend on speed of an object.??
Second we say that static friction does not depend on area of contact but We say that we can reduce the friction by rolling. I am confused please Explain?

What happens when, a block resting on a surface, just begins to move, and we are provided with both kinetic and static frictional coefficients? Which one to use?

A question for my clearing. Without friction (μ =0) The force of 1 Nw is enough for moving the block, because the weight of block (mg) is balanced to Normal Force. So it doesn’t matter how much is the weight of block for moving it, but it’s important for knowing acceleration. Is it correct? Many thanks

what is a magnitude of a static friction force when the block is just sitting on the table and no other force is acting on it? thank you a lot

How do you calculate the Coefficient of kinetic friction if they do not give it to you? Thanks.

If my hand is carried over the stainless steel surface then why the friction force is higher?

Wait... round objects like a 3d circle, is frictions useless a pon on a round objects?

is mg"(=" 10kg a mistake of is it supposed to be like that?
