Jewish Students Sheltered Inside College Library During Protest

Fear at a New York college as pro-Palestinian protesters stormed the campus. They headed for the seventh-floor library at Cooper Union. They then pounded on the doors, threatening 11 Jewish students who sought sanctuary by sheltering themselves in the library. They saw protesters waving wooden sticks at the library’s windows. The protesters left without gaining entry, but some of the terrified students say they called 911 and no one came. Inside Edition’s Les Trent has more.

It’s so sad to be born Jewish or Palestinian and get mobbed by too emotional, aggressive protesters, when you just want to live a normal life, and you couldn’t do anything about your descendants or country’s history or be born differently. Some people just want to live peacefully but some people have small brains to know the difference.

It’s like putting blame on the currently living and young Germans or Japanese for starting World Wars when they didn’t even actually start it themselves.

It’s not the Jewish community that did anything nor the Palestinians, it’s the governments who do these things. It’s not like threatening a Jewish community will just suddenly free Palestine. America can’t do anything really, so they really should find a way to protest in a different way than rather threatening people who aren’t even apart of this conflict. 🇮🇱❤🇵🇸

If they have pictures of these kids and these kids need to be expelled immediately the ones that were threatening other people's lives like that. There's no excuse for that, never! Why does hate have to rule hearts like this!

Imagine me immigrating to ANY predominantly Muslim country and telling them how to run their political ideology, asking their government to pay for my education and to support my crazy ideas from the west. Moreover, me then protesting about not getting my way and creating a civil disobedience in the process. What do you think would happen to me? Honest question?

I saw news report at a college protest where a pro Palestinian student said she felt unsafe at her college. Of course the reporter didn't ask her if she thinks Jewish students felt safe.

I don’t get why people protesting, they all live in America 🇺🇸 and they should stay semi-neutral and respect each other because they aren’t even in the war zone, I will respect them for having different opinions, but screaming in each others faces won’t solve anything, it will just escalate everything and police have to put their resources to wrong use instead of focusing on real crime.

No one is a winner at this situation and it’s just sad.
