Heres my theory cause im a little nerd heh

I think that yoo joonghyuk had lost all of his friends and family in war, (the part where yoo mia, lee jihye and possibly jung heewon? I couldnt pause in time, were dying and in situations where death was inevitable) every funeral was the same. With han sooyoung by his side. Hsy possibly being a relative? I think the part where the song said “every face, every name.” Had confirmed that the people shown were dead by blocking out their faces.

Probably a timeskip later, maybe theres a war? And kim dokja is trying to help yoo joonghyuk out. Going back to the first part, kim dokja tells yoo joonghyuk that he wouldnt change a thing about how he felt about yjh even if he told him some of the most horrendous stuff ever.

“You can trust me.” Meaning kim dokja had probably persuaded or pushed yoo joonghyuk to tell him about the war? Explaining the reader and story part. The next few scenes are probably yoo joonghyuk telling the story of his battles and how he lost almost everyone around him. Kim dokja is now the only person he can rely on. Not sure about the “your fate has been sealed” part!

We can clearly see that yoo joonghyuk has been having nightmares and flashbacks about his companions dying infront of him. And i have a theory on why yjh killed kdj!!

1. Kim dokja had reacted rashly to the story, becoming horrified and disgusted of yoo joonghyuk. Causing yoo joonghyuk to kill kim dokja to keep his mouth shut.

2. OR!! yoo joonghyuk killed kim dokja as an accident. Acting out because of his trauma. Not sure!

3. Kim dokja had persuaded and triggered yoo joonghyuk to kill him with words. Probably mocking his companion’s deaths.

Anyways, in the next scenes we can see yoo joonghyuk becoming horrified of what he had just done. Killing the person he had trusted most. Maybe. We can also see that yoo joonghyuk had the most reaction to kim dokja’s death. Kneeling down at his grave instead of standing there like the others.

By now i’ve covered 3/4th of the video!!

Yoo joonghyuk, driven by love, goes to han sooyoung. Asking for her to do a spell that would reverse time. That seems like the most plausible explanation! “Kill me, han sooyoung.” Probably meaning he needed to be killed for the spell to work. We then see the next scenes repeating. Meaning that the spell failed.

Yoo joonghyuk has gone absolutely insane for kim dokja. Becoming obsessed with someone that was doomed by the narrative to die.

So good! It takes off some of the plot of orv which I love! (Like how Yoo Joonghyuk had to stab Kim Dokja) i also feel bad for Soo Young since she had to kill Yoo Joonghyuk leaving only herself in that universe!

For those who want! On Ao3 you can find a Royal Au (ABO/omegaverse) fanfic where YJH is forced to marry KDJ to unite both kingdoms.

It is explicitly Dokhyuk ( Alfa/Alfa Relationship ) and it has strong scenes.

It's called "Strictly Un–fated" by A_Very_Kim_chi and for now it has 30 chapters, ongoing.
