As former President Trump and his running mate Ohio Senator JD Vance campaign in Atlanta tonight, Vice President Harris is working with advisors to finalize her choice for the candidate to run for her current job as she vies for the presidency. NBC News’ Dasha Burns reports from the campaign trail.

Walz. I actually like buttigeg a lot as well. I personally think shapiro and Kelly are overrated. I also like breshear and pintzker. I think walz buttigeg beshear and pintzker would all be great. She needs to pick the person that she wants to work with for the next (at least) 4 years. Typically the VP isn't that big of a deal...they don't usually get a ton of coverage.

A lot of folks are giving themselves a brain freeze trying to figure out "which candidate gives her the biggest electoral map advantage", or will shapiro give her PA, or will Kelly give her AZ? Or could beshear give her KY...I think it's all a wash. Pick the person that gives you the most balanced ticket and who will help you run our country for the next 4 years. I know CNN has been high on shapiro because he outperformed biden by 14 points in 2020. But what CNN didn't mention was that that is extremely skewed because shapiro was running against an extremely disliked republican. I don't think shapiro gives her any real advantage in the grand scheme of things that none of the other candidates wouldn't give her. ...

I like walz. I think harris-walz is the best ticket. He's been fantastic in MN
