His films are literally glorious paintings.

As a photographer myself, and really interested in videography, his movies are VERY INSPIRING.. The colors he uses are breathtaking, to say the least..

My favorite movies of his are Arrival (which I still can't seem to get over) and Blade Runner 2049 (one of the best visually stunning movies I've seen in a time).
Denis Villeneuve has easily become one of my favorite directors, if not THE best.

Only an important note: Denis Villeneuve usually works with best cinematographers and art directors. I understand he delegates color palette, so the merit is probably of his team.

I think some of these are a stretch. The fire scene in particular, contrast the dark blue of her clothing with the hot orange fire. This is an exceptionally made video and if I didn't care, I wouldn't have said anything.
