this is one of the few songs that to me, feels somehow both nostalgic and fresh/new at the same time. it's like walking down the sidewalks of a suburban neighborhood in the middle of june, headed towards your friend’s house to sit with him and chat for a few hours as you eat tangerines, and you’re using the music to distract yourself from bad memories, and finally being able to just let it go for a minute, and instead think of nice, happy things...
so refreshing. it's always nice to be introduced to songs like these.

This song is like a dream, so blissful. And the ending of the song is like the feeling you get from waking up from a dream, when you notice that it all has to come to a stop and it's time for you to get back into the real world.

Ive been hearing this song on a commercial for like the last freakin' month. I recognized it but couldn't remember what it was and it has been driving me NUTS. because i love this song and couldn't name it, and the dang ol' google assistant couldnt identify it. But then i remembered that it used to play on my Pandora next to foster the People, Modest Mouse, and MGMT. Then suddenly I was like... "STRFKR"!!! first song that came up when i searched the band. Im so proud of my self and elated that i finally remembered this gem

This song is (for me) a Time Machine that brought me back 10 years. Right before I went to college. Waking up and exercising my creativity without the worry of getting to work on time, bills, planning out a future with my wife and kids. In 10 years this old mans been through a lot.. stay creative and young at heart kids. Take advice from the right people. You aren’t on your own. Do the right things to give yourself and your loved ones the best future possible. And most importantly take some time every day to stop and smell the roses. Appreciate life for what it is. These are the good ol days we just don’t know it yet.
