$1B donation covers tuition for most Johns Hopkins medical students

Tuition will soon be covered for most medical students attending Johns Hopkins University thanks to a $1 billion donation from Bloomberg Philanthropies. WBAL's Tommie Clark reports.

I make less than 100k a year, my high school senior daughter got one scholarship for $1k but students whose families make a lot more 8 of them to be exact got all the other scholarships due to their names and status. I think scholarships should go to those who can’t afford college not the other way around.

Most normal people would call this an anti-fail. I'm sure many of the non-neckbeards understand the "battle for the baccalaureate" and that there are often motives aside from pure profit for going into medicine.
