Charles Blow opens up “Prime” talking about reports that President Joe Biden is telling lawmakers not to expect much on reparations legislation. Biden did not mention reparations at the Tulsa Race Massacre 100th anniversary event.

Blow speaks to Michael Harriot, senior writer at The Root, about what Biden is doing right and what work he still needs to accomplish regarding Black people.

“He can’t just say words, but he has to put forth a concrete plan to get toward equity for Black people and addressing some of the stuff he’s said,” Harriot says.

All this and more on “Prime.”

Y’all shoulda been having this conversation before voting instead of strolling to the polls for him. Joe Biden is being who he has always been, Black people were used as always. We have no true Black political leadership or representation for real and it’s time for us as a community to have some really serious discussions about continuing to participate in this system or using our power for ourselves and ourselves only. Black first....Not Democrat first.

If that's the case then the Democrats shouldn't expect much from Black voters. I'm glad I only voted down ballot. Black people it's time to do something different because this here ain't it.
