Recoheat doing the job the heat pump doesn't!

Ed's in Cupar in Scotland, and uses two stoves and a Recoheat to heat the stone house. That's in contrast to his air-source heat-pump, installed at great cost, which not only doesn't heat it, but costs a fortune to run whilst you try.

Evening Will. Stove is lit now. The little recoheat is doing its stuff. I know it works. You know it works. My sweep was seriously impressed. And for those 'snake oil' sceptics, I'm not on a retainer - I just saw the product, bought it, used it for a good while and like what I see. If I had the space to fit one above my second stove I would get another one for that too.

Apart from the extra heat output, would there be any disadvantage in fitting two units within a single new-build flue? I'm sure there would still be plenty of otherwise potentially lost heat that could be recovered from fitting another unit, say half to one metre further up the flue, this would be in a large, vaulted ceiling room.

What happens when that little pipe corrodes and you start pumping carbon monoxide into your house

Heat pump that doesn't heat home? I guess they only work in Canada, our heat pump keeps our home warm in winter even it hits -25C outside.

12m3 of wood to burn in a stove would cost most people a lot of money. This is such a ridiculous video.
