I visited Boca Grande, Florida

We're off to Boca Grande, Florida to see the beaches and explore the town. We travel all the way from the top of the island to to the beach at the southernmost point of the island seeing the sites all along the way. Boca Grande is surely one of the best vacation destinations in Florida.

Great snorkeling there in summer. Lots of "famous" people here also.

BG is spectacular in every way, but very quiet. Don’t go expecting Key West. The commercial area is two blocks long with a handful of shops and restaurants.

But if I won the lottery, a big lottery, I’d own a house there. Starting price in 2024 is about $3m for a sfh.

We are moving from New Jersey to Florida very soon but we have seen Boca grande a number of times and it is so beautiful!

The beach streets are public. Parking is free. (The streets are technically county parks). Also, Katharine Hepburn - not Audrey.

The pass is deep because a dredger was supposed to work for about 4-6 hours but fell asleep and dredge about 8hr

If I could do it again I'd save more $$$ and buy a beach front home there. I bought in Port Charlotte about 17 miles away.
