Natural Light Photoshoot... Model interaction

New episode of my Natural Light Photoshoot series is heeeerrrrreeee!!!

I have been working with some new beautiful people to update my portfolio and include models as well. And I can't think "model" without thinking of this gorgeous lady! This girl is one of the most beautiful souls you’ll ever meet! You spend a few minutes around her and you levitate! Her charisma, warmth… she is sunshine in human form!

I chose that image for the Thumbnail for this video because it gives me goose bumps! Such lovely portrait! That light is to die for, and one of my top favorite ways to shoot close to sunset: Backlit. In this video, we shoot in a variety of ways, one being backlighting. When sun is low in the horizon, you get such beautiful warmth and glow... and I love to take advantage of it.

I was planning on shooting this near horses and stables, but there was a major fire near the ranch (Mountain Fire), so we had to change things up in the last minute. It's very important to have a backup plan!

Geneva and I brought wardrobe and put the outfit on the spot to make it all as organic as we could. There are some pieces from Nordstrom, Zara, Lucky brand, Anthropologie, Free People and H&M.

For 2025 I want more of this, people to work with who enjoy the art of photography. More kindness, more heart and soul… otherwise, what’s the point?

Video taken by my beautiful sister who is so loving and supportive. I edited it using Capcut Pro, but wish she could have edited it herself... she's so much better at it than me.

Yet again... A little note on being on-camera. I hate it! So incredibly much! It's really hard for me to remember to pause my train of thought while I'm in the middle of shooting to explain what it is that I am doing. But I promise that I am trying to get better!

So I'd love to hear from you on what you'd like to see more in these videos so that I can work on better content for you.
