Carlos Alcaraz's brother Jaime was invited to the IMG Future Stars 2022, a tournament in Greece with the best under 12 tennis players in the world. Jaime played his first round robin match against Teodor Davidov but was outclassed by the ambidextrous prodigy, way too aggressive and strong for him. Davidov won 6-1, 6-0. Here are the best points of the match.

What is truly insane about Davidov is he serves both left and right handed so he always gets the slice outwide serve. Absolutely bonkers.

Coach: Hit to his backhand
Jaime: What backhand?

I cant believe he can serve with both hands, that's amazing.

Two sets, 0 backhand errors. Very impressive lol.

That boy takes "he has no backhand" to a whole other level.

Must be nice to serve with two hands and hit with two forehands.

i dont think being ambidextrous will translate well into more advance level... constantly have to switch hands is going to be a hinderance when the ball speed increases at higher levels.. He is not the 1st ambidextrous that did great as a kid but never well in the pros

Davidov still has a better backhand than Tsitsipas...🤔

I don’t see anyone mentioning the fact that there may be a day when 2 Alcaraz brothers play against each other. That’ll be a match to witness!👀👏🏾

The switching hands of the racquet won't take him very far but the lefty right serve might help him down the road

To all the clowns who say u cant hit a lefty forehand because the grip change is too slow. Thats probably true on 20% of shots. But that means 80% of shots its fine and ud get ur asses handed to you by an ambidextrous player. Its the logical flaw associated with binary thinking. The world is a continuum and its how the best players gain edge. Ive hit lefty forehand for 6 months and not only has that shot improved, but my 2 handed backhand has also unexpectedly greatly improved as well due to better awareness/control of my left hand. Its a no brainer, this is a 1+1 = 3 opportunity to improve your game if u have the time to train and learn it.

Jaime seems good but this Davidov kid is a beast

It looks like davidov doesn’t have any backhand What so ever…huge hole in game if he ever gets caught out. Needs a backhand slice and ability to use other face of racket on defense

That, my friends, is the future of tennis. Even McEnroe has stated that if someone can have two forehands, they will rule the game. I hope both players are successful in the future.
