I once saw a story about this guy who hated lemon cake but every year his wife made him lemon cake thinking he'd like it. he had it every year because it made her happy (he also didn't have the heart to tell her he hated them because she loved making him lemon cakes so much) . it is a bit of an extreme case but you do what will make your partner feel appreciated and loved for their effort.

Story 2: Ella argues that it doesn't matter whether she cheated once or ten times, but she did omit telling OP about it because she was convinced he wouldn't forgive her if he knew it wasn't just once. So, which one is it Ella?

In french, "supporte" means tolerate, so I love the double meaning of "my dad does whatever to support (tolerate) my mom" because that's what it feels like

One of my best friends has celiacs and I've seen her get glutened before. She says it immediately sits like a lump in her stomach, and within 2 hours, she's puking her guts out. She then feels like absolute garbage for the next 3 days or so and has to eat like she has the flu. When we were 16, a couple of our classmates purposely gave her a handful of pretzels that were not gluten-free (but they told her they were), and she still reacted the same as if she'd had a whole meal with gluten in it. The mom in the post is definitely faking it for the attention.

Post 4, she's a narcissist, main character syndrome, and she will never change. Don't go low contact, go no contact.

For the Story 4 Update, I wonder if Mother's not charging because one, she took the food, and two, she does know she's faking it and can get into some trouble for faking.

That mother would have pissed me tf off. OP didn't GIVE her anything. She STOLE her child's food, then blamed her when she found out it was something she refuses to eat, despite having NO REASON to not eat it.

It's one thing to fake an illness for attention it's another to do it at the expense of someone else. One is a sucky thing to do, the other is just downright despicable.

Story 3: As a former grocery store employee (I spent covid in a grocery store) I am here to tell you all to back tf off of the employees. They are not allowed to confront this man. A manager needs to be called and that wouldn't be helpful. A manager, with very very rare exception, will apologize to the problem guy and probably give gift cards or some kind of discount. Those employees want him banned more than OP.

With Story #4, I have a relative who's like that. People who will eat anything without asking whats in it - then when you tell them how you make it they swear up and down that's not how you make it.

Post 4: I have some food allergies that are manageable (stomach cramps, headaches, rashes and other "light" symptoms) and I would never eat something I have no idea what is in it.

Story 5: I had a neighbor with an emergency key to my house. Turned out she let herself in while my husband and I were on vacation so they could watch our TV. She also came in to take ice. I’m sure she went through every nook and cranny of our house. Glad she moved

I have a wheat allergy. Not gluten, just wheat itself. I carry an EpiPen for it. There's not a snowball's chance in hell that I'd grab food out of anyone's fridge. I bring my own food to everything.

"Yeah well that's where the food is. It doesn't mean you can eat it!" 😂 this is the Vincey content I live for

It's worth noting that in the first story, he never mentions that he was the one who kissed someone else. He just describes it as a drunken kiss. That could mean that both of them were drunk, and someone kissed him. It could also mean that he kissed someone else while drunk. It could also mean that it was mutual. Meaning that as a baseline, it isn't even close to the same

19:46 I don't think it's particularly weird to give someone else a key to your house in case you get locked out. I feel like that's a pretty common thing? I have the keys to my sister's house and my parents' house for this reason. However, it's also very common sense not to just show up in their house without reason?! Like come on.
