I have made a few leather sheaves for a machette and a knife i made. I used the saddle stitch.Watching you sew yours, , , i'm going to give it a go.Looks much quicker and easier.

Nicely done! Just some remarks: Use softer leather for the sides or thinner, it will give you a better shape of the pouch. Try coloring with natural colors, some nice recipes around and looks better. And a saddlery stich (dont know in English) looks better (backward stitch?).

Thank you for sharing the video! If I can offer a tip? Strop that utility knife blade on some leather and it wont be such a struggle to cut with, I use the same type knife and it made all the difference in the world! Carry on man and keep making !

Even your new blade will hugely benefit from stroping on a piece of leather and some jewelers rouge.
