For anyone stuck in this battle, here's my guide:
1. Fire mc always attack boss so the boss could break
2. Your target in this battle is only 2, the boss and root that could heal
3. Always priorities to kill root that heal. It's the one with flower. Do not kill lavish
4. Your team must fully build and you must not kill root lavish. Let the boss summon 2 lavish and after that boss will unleash ultimate. No need to worry for the damage because if your team strong, it won't kill anyone. The reason why you should let the boss summon 2 lavish and unleash ultimate is because after ultimate all roots will disappeared and you can freely hit the boss without worrying about the fckin roots. Remember to save natasha / bailu ultimate to heal after boss ultimate

I just finished this boss, and let me tell ya, it was harder than the fight with cocolia
you really have to keep natasha alive so she can heal your team, i admit, i got a bit mad everytime that green plant kept focusing on natasha making heals virtually impossible.

I handled that boss really well without much trouble.
Asta, Natasha, Pela and Qingque was the option for the F2P.
That’s why I use Natasha for removing debuffs when one of my characters is affected.

Without Natasha and March I would not have survived this battle. My team level was barely around lv 40. It took me one hour to serve this deer on the plate.

I used Fire Trailblazer to help tank and shield, Natasha is good if you have not pulled Bailu, otherwise Bailu is good because her skill can heal multiple times each time and her ultimate gives reinvigoration, Quinque exploits the Quantum weakness pretty well. I used Serval because she was at E6 and could deal decent damage.

Still took me half an hour

There is three way to deal with the deer.
Erudition works wonder with all those trees.
Bring a hunt character, tank the big attack, and let the tree die.
Have Seele. She can clear the tree and attack the deer all at the same time.

I died so many times because I didn't realize this one crucial detail. On the 2nd phase, just let the fruit tree fully charge its atk and hit you. Make sure you have enough HP to tank the hit for all characters (lvl up relics, etc.). I was around lvl45. ALL the trees will disappear after that charge atk. Which means you don't have to focus on the trees at all. Focus on the deer and the rest is history. My team was Fire MC, Natasha, Seele, Himeko.

I tried with the main 3 characters and tingyun for immersion but I couldn’t do it. I put in yanqing and ate purple attack food and it was much easier. I wish I didn’t have to bring in the big guns but I had to. This deer is harder than cocolia.

Any new free characters after obtaining the fire trailblazer in the later story quests? I know about the 4 edilons in the shop for the fire trailblazer.

After several tries, I managed to beat this boss with Fire Trailblazer (Caelus), Welt, Pela, and Lynx. Pela and Lynx’s ultimates are the “x-factors” in these battle as Pela’s ultimate can debuff the boss and the branches and Lynx’s ultimate can heal your team. Also, don’t forget about the Fire Trailblazer who can deal a great damage to this deer boss. Of course you need to build them properly.
