Destroid - Behind the Scenes (Part 1)

Excision teams up with Downlink and KJ Sawka to take his full-frontal bass assault into the live arena as Destroid. In this first part of our behind the scenes mini-doc, the guys take us through the concept behind Destroid and the revolutionary technology of their million-dollar armoured suits, complete with smoke machines, CO2 and laser arm blasters, sophisticated LED panels and animatronics and built-in video cameras.

Even if you don't like the music you have to respect the innovation and shear spectacle. I think Funk Hole is the best song because I can really see it live in my head when it kicks in. Maybe they should introduce a rock element and have one real guitar. KJ Sawka did DnB rock, this could evolve into hardcore dubstep rock.

That's the thing about the electronic music scene: It can be about whatever you make it about, be it visuals, sound, an image, or an idea. Everyone has a different vision. And when they all blend together you get a neat group of interesting, dynamic people who have a common interest, yet go about enjoying that interest in their own unique ways.
