Gus is the literal embodiment of the "nice guy". Everything he says comes from a deep insecurity. Literally every thing. He thinks he's a dork or so called "freak" and he projects that on everybody he meets. Including Bertie.

Does anyone else hate Mickey? She is incredibly selfish. Even in the last episode when her ex says that she'll destroy Gus and she says, "Well let me figure that out myself." So Gus gets hurt while she tries to find herself? and I guess Gus is a naive idealist who keeps falling for Mickey cuz he thinks he loves her. I don't know...I didn't like this season.

Love this show. Its so down to Earth and honestly nothing insane. But thats the best part! It feels so… ‘real’. Like we’re watching genuine people having genuine awkward interactions with each other.

Gus is a total damn blue pill simp. If I was the type, I would have been yelling at the television through the entire second half of the season. It was a total misery to tank through this show. Don't quite know what possessed me to put myself through it.

Even if they come up with a 3rd season, I will not touch it with a 10 foot pole held by another person. Only positive thing in the 2nd season was the greatly visualized lesson of "What the hell not to do", but then again I already knew all that.
