I read the description from their website. It has 33 LED's all over the MS and the binders. It's still in the prototype form. They will come out with the 2nd prototype kit soon.

I've also pre-ordered this directly from Elyn. I ordered it when they had their first pre-order open price, but since then they have opened a second round. I've just recently received the C3 Hobby Kshatriya recast as well. Haven't started clean up (doesn't need a whole lot), but it's incredible. I'm partial to both, the C3 appears to be more stylistic, longer binders and what not. But I personally think the Elyn is the most accurate representation of the original line art. Looks promising!

I was looking at actually ordering the C3 version but this certainly has sparked my interest, being released now in late march is also a bonus as that would mean reviews in a couple of weeks.

Hopefully they will also look in doing some other rarer models as I would love a 1/100 Rozen Zulu with that kind of details.

Also, the initial pic you show, where it's shorter than Sinanju was just during prototyping. They've changed the proportion since then to make it taller. It's at least as tall as Sinanju now, without the binders on

Preordered mine too! Its a gamble, but it looks good enough and I hope more people do crazy stuff to give our hobby more variety

I've pre-order! Super excited for this release. Interested to see how it handles it's weight. After shipping it was $250USD.

looking at their site it seems like they will be doing more batches in the future, I'm guessing itll be after they fill all the pre-order orders. or at least i hope

That's exactly what I had in mind to try to do. Some awesome kits outside of the mainstream kit manufacturers.

Ive just bought mine..i wonder how it will turn out, because what all people say in reviews so far, is that it everything except 'easy build'. Alot of the more veteran builders say its one of the most difficult kits they've build ever. I myself have never build a 3th party gundam kit, but i do have build alot of kits and 7 PG's so far. So i am excited, as i like to puzzle around and find for solutions as it turns out to be difficult:)

Do you know what type of articulation it have in terms its model grade? Is it a no grade?

Yeah I've read up on the 2nd revision too. It only makes sense. Why would they go to so much trouble as a labour of love and take a massive risk on this kind of kit - only to not release it in the right size? That would be shooting their own foot.

Also for what it's worth, they do have a facebook page for this model. They have been updating it quite often too. Loads of pictures and videos of how the parts fit together!

It won't let me paste in a webpage link, but you should be able to search '1/100 KS-6 Kastrysha' to bring it up

Yeah I have given some thought to getting a resin kit usually a Sazabi or a Gundam Alex sometimes a Nightingale. But cash is usually a problem. But yes my painting skills are in need of work.

How did u preorder? I emailed them asking about it, they replied back saying they just opened second round of preorders (with bonus items). I replied saying I wanted to pre-order, but never got a response or confirmation back o_0

It looks really awesome, but for me, cutting the parts out is part of the fun of building a kit. The pre-assembled frame is draw back in regards to that as well, but the LEDs are a nice touch. Its just too expensive for my taste though.

I will wait for a review of it before I buy it. I am hopeful that it turns out great.

Has Elyn Hobby made any other kits? I would pre order as the kit looks really cool, but I actually want to see what's in the box before putting down that kind of money. I mean something doesn't seem right. 1200 parts, a ton of LEDs, no tools needed, and it weighs about 5kg. 172 USD seems kind of cheap for all that. Looking forward to seeing the actual finished product. Hope it's as good as they claim.

I pre-ordered when it was 1st announced and paid $155.00 but $80.00 shipping so $235.00 shipped which I thought was pretty good for such a kit.

About $70 USD. Normal for EMS on something so big and heavy.
