Following the release of "Lagos Riddim", King Lekan has released another anticipated single, FREEDOM RIDDIM (Òmìnira).

“Freedom Riddim” is an afrobeats/afro-house/dance/world music/instrumental record that came about as a result of the recent uprising with regards to racism, police brutality, injustices, etc. against black people all around the world, particularly in the United States where King Lekan resides.

King Lekan decides to use his music as a tool and voice to empower and bring more light to the overall racism against black people all around the world.
“Freedom Riddim” is a two-minute up-tempo high intensity, energetic and powerful record that will leave listeners happy, wanting to dance, inspired and empowered while listening and after listening. The record consists of very groovy production drums, sweet sounding guitars, musical synthesizer pads, deep soothing bass and beautiful inspiring vocals in the verses and choruses. With regards to the vocals, in “Freedom Riddim”, King Lekan taps into his vocal/songwriting ability by using his voice to sing a sweet melody with the powerful word “Ominira” in the choruses, which means freedom or to be free, in the Nigerian Yoruba language. The powerful Yoruba word, “Ominira” (meaning freedom or to be free) was the perfect way to empower people all over the world, in Africa and the diaspora in the United States.
