THE OTHERS Board Game Review

theMCGuiRE review takes a look at The Others: 7 Deadly Sins a brand new game from our friends at CoolMiniOrNot (CMON) and one of the top 2016 games to be released at Gencon 2016! This game features a DM style game play mechanic as one player plays one of the 7 deadly sins and the other players form a the Faith Team to defeat the Sin and save the city from its ultimate doom! Fantastic miniatures, great game play mechanics and solid artwork make this title another great addition to their arsenal.

Unfortunately the way corruption is being run is inaccurate. you only get bonuses on corruption taken voluntarily, which must be done before the dice roll. If you get corruption after the dice roll, you just take it, no retroactive bonus for the conflict. that poor hobo died before his time. :)

Also, if he takes voluntary corruption in a fight, and, as a result of the Sin’s roll, he also takes some forced corruption, his roll
won’t benefit from the bonuses related to the extra corruption levels reached through the forced corruption.

I believe you put the corruption token on the slots and not the health. The health token blocks the ability given from the increased corruption.

I don't think it's a problem for younger kids to play this game. My 7 years old daughter doesn't see them as "Sins", she sees them as regular monsters as in many other games we play.

when you got a winged sword you could tranSform it into an eye and remove the fire token, I think Carl has an ability whith which he adds one more eye to the roll ? the hobo cannot attack because you koved the other monster to the room of interest
you can't take bonuses by simply having codduption, you have to voluntarily increase it to gain bonuses.
If I remember well you can put monsters in hero blocks, you just can't move them away on their movement.

This game is made to make players suffer :P

Wow, I'm impressed... 44:00 minutes video titled "The Others Board Game Review" and the review part lasts for 100 seconds from 40:20 to 42:00... AND, "your" opinions are exactly the elements that Tom Vessel and Marcowargamer pointed out in their reviews both online before yours.In fact, you spend more time speaking of your contest rather than reviewing the game. Better improve  A LOT if you want subscribers to increase.
