Not only was yesterday (3 Oct ) a Jewish feast day but it was the day my husband received the greatest gift short of The Atoinement. He received a physical life saving gift! He got a transplant. We will never know the family that made the heartbreaking choice to donate their deceased family member's organs. While in the OR waiting room, in watching the status of the surgeries (no names but numbers) there were 3 transplants listed. My husband and I are including this wonderful family in our prayers.

The Matthew 24:30 scripture coincides with the 1 Nephi 14 scripture about the Saints being clothed with power and great glory. President Nelson said that "we are those people that Nephi only saw in vision."

It was mentioned in conference(Elder Neil L Andersen, October 2023) that we have chapels and congregations in 195 countries and territories. That is the total amount that is recognized by the UN. Only a few others are not recognized including Taiwan for some reason, but Taiwan has the gospel. The gospel has been spread to every nation. The internet has made that possible as well.

An open house of the Salt Lake Temple would be a wonderful way to show the full history of the Church to futur members at the start of the Millenium. It would be a wonderful missionary opportunity to teach.

Pres. Nelson told us to 'think celestial'. Straight away, as members of the church, think of the kingdom, being celestial people, improving our behavior to be more of a celestial kingdom candidate/citizen. I agree with that. But I've thought that another layer to that statement. How about looking up into the heavens? Think of what's going on in the heavens. There has been so much going on in the heavens in the last while. And the sign of the Son of Man will be seen in the heavens. Maybe Pres. Nelson is also saying 'look up.' 'Keep searching/looking for the sign'.

Correct name of the Church….President Nelson has emphasized using the correct name for many decades now. Back in April 1990 he gave a wonderful Conference address entitled; “Thus Shall My Church Be Called”

I just had a thought while listening. “Clouds in the heavens “ could be in reference to Nebulas. Nebulas in space pictures look like clouds to me. Astronomers might comment about something coming from a Nebula and that could be our sign. Which Nebula? Not sure. But maybe another piece to the puzzle.

In the book of Mormon, Nephi was told when Christ would be born, but it wasn't until the day before. So possible the current prophet won't know exactly until almost time. Of course, the Prophet could have a probable time frame.

I have a feeling that those who have received the gospel and then turned from it, will be worse off than those who never accepted it in the first place. Who knows, though, save our presiding authorities and the Godhead.
