I actually heard this before the original, and two things surprised me. The first was that they actually sampled the main synth line, so this sounds quite similar to the original. The second was that the original has a more complex and less enjoyable melody. Like, after hearing this, the chorus of the original sounds strange to me. It jumps around too much melodically. COMA did a great job simplifying the chord structure.
