I purchased the ABS Power Pack a couple weeks ago, and I can't believe that I haven't taken the time until tonight to watch this video.  This video has given me a bunch of ideas that'll keep me busy for my for awhile.  Awesome job on the Patches and Effects. Thanks, John.

Great and informative videos! Been watching them for a while. Wonder if I can download them and burn a DVD out of them to play on my big screen TV in my living room. Ready to buy this awesome PowerPack for Absynth 5. Thanks for sharing your great talent. Absenth 5 factory patches? Agreed, not from THIS world! And the Stylus RMX PowerPack will end up in my shopping basket as well! Thanks Skippy!

@Vondur - Only works with Absynth 5. There are SO many new tools (Aetherizer and Cloud to name a few) are only Absynth 5. Totally worth the update!!

I work my buttocks off for 6 months (some patches originated years earlier) and totally re-invent Absynth 5 to be usable in ANY of today's music production - from DubStep to EDM to Trance, Techno, House. Doing the Real-Time controllers for EVERY patch alone took over a month of boring/tedious work, but I did it to make the patches far more useful. I feel I charge a fair price that everybody can afford and hope you agree. :D

@MuzikAuto - the main reasons for these audio issues is that I'm playing a higher polyphonic patch with Logic Pro set to 128 for it's buffer size. When I am normally composing, buffer is fine at 256 or 512 but because I'm talking into a mic with headphones on, the delay is a pain if the buffer size is too large.... I'll probably update this computer next year so I hope it can hang on a little while longer !!

@Xtra999 - that would be nice.... not the first thing on my list but that would be fun to add to the

I'm picking this bank up. These are really good patches, and well worth more than $30. This is simply put: A no brainer deal people! So shut up and take my money! :D I picked this up from hearing that first bass patch and how you molded it further. Awesome sounds all together. And I'm thinking this will fit my hiphop music pretty nicely. However I'm having a big problem finding out where to put the files. The samples went in alright, but now the presets won't show up. The best way to get something installed, is letting an installer getting things installed. There's a few freeware install creators available such as InnoSetup, NSIS, and others like these.

@sokoleski - my pleasure, sokoleski! Glad you're inspired. That's what it's all about for

Aswesome video. I really like Pulsation Nirvana. Native Instruments should consider hiring you on to program presets. Their synths presets always lack the typical bread and butter sounds that people would most often want to use. I'll be looking forward to your upcoming Absynth tutorials.

It's no problem. Thanks for your nice reply.... There is the technique of taking existing patches, changing sliders and calling it a new patch. I don't work that way. Almost every patch is made from an initialized patch. That way they are each unique and have their own character. :D

@Vondur - thank you V. I did work with N.I. on patches for Absynth 2 but they have not hired me back but we're in contact :D

@Vondur - if you turn on the higher resolution oscillators, add cloud to each oscillator and then try to play chords, it will cost you CPU cycles - however, for the sounds Absynth makes, I think it's totally worth it. It's not THAT

@psbmastering - thank you very much for the kind comment, PSB. You CAN download any YouTube video to your computer very easily. Search YouTube for a video called How to Download YouTube Videos with Safari that was created by DanWantsTech and you'll learn how to do it. Thank you (in advance) for your business.

@thepluginguru NI needs to reconsider the way they market their synths. The pre-sets on on most of their products, (particularly Absynth) are so impractical. Videos like this show how powerful nice synths can be in the right hands.

@BZdaKritta - kind of different worlds, BZ. This is a very powerful synthesizer that will work with many different sequencing programs on the PC and Mac. Reason is a closed system that combines synths with it's own sequencer. The synths are very nice that come with Reason, but they can't touch Absynth. So you have to pick which world you want to be in.... I don't work much with Reason because of it's limitations. Others love it's way of working and have created amazing music... get a demo of it.

You could easily create next generation hip hop with these patches my friend. Just because I don't play convincing hip hop doesn't mean they wouldn't kick ass in a phat Nas so, go for it. ;D

ok, I apologize for my comment then, I didn't realize there's that much work involved. I'll check them out at some point for sure, they sound great
