Remove the Red Underline in Pages

If you see an annoying red underline in your Apple Pages document, you probably have spelling and grammar check turned on to check your spelling while typing. There is an easy fix to remove the red underline, which can be very distracting, especially if you are using placeholder text such as Lorem Ipsum in your sections.

Good grief! I was trying to turn that off in Preferences. My Pages was marking nearly every word as misspelled. Drive me nuts! Thank you a hundred million!

i had to select all text, then change the option, then all the red lines went away. what a relief, can be a real issue when copy pasting

I use pages on my iPad but it isn’t putting a red underline under misspelled words. Is there a way to get it to do that?
