The Granule Stitch or Picot Single Crochet is an amazing and easy stitch that gives texture without using too much yarn!

Row 1: chain an odd number plus 1. in the bumps, skipping the first chain, single crochet into the second chain and all the way across, OR foundation single crochet an odd number, turn

Row 2: chain 1, single crochet into the first stitch, *granule stitch into the next, single crochet into the next stitch. repeat from * all the way across, ending in a single crochet, turn

Row 3: chain 1, single crochet into the first stitch and all the way across, turn

Row 4: chain 1, single crochet into the next two stitches, *granule stitch in the next stitch, single crochet in the next stitch. repeat from * all the way across, ending with two single crochet, turn

Row 5: chain 1, single crochet into the first stitch and all the way across, turn
