How to Make Continuous Bias Binding || 100 Days of Sewing || Day 67

This is by far the most efficient & fastest way to make bias binding for using in garment sewing. Works best for woven fabrics such as medium weight cotton or viscose/rayon. (I'm using a viscose in the demonstration).
Can be used to finish necklines, armhole, hems & in quilting too.

I’d seen this described in books but couldn’t get my head round it at all. After watching you twice and then stopping and starting I now have LOADS of binding! Thank you, as long as I can attach it to the neck and armholes I will have something wearable - I haven’t enough fabric as I have also done a full bust adjustment, it never occurred to me that would need so much more fabric, duh, dopey me!

Fantastic Sam! I trained originally as a needlework teacher 46 years ago, done other things since then but now in retirement have a new found love for dressmaking. Never seen bias binding done this way before and will certainly be using it! Thank you.
