NBC News royal commentator Daisy McAndrew joins TODAY to discuss Queen Elizabeth’s decision to limit Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s public access at the Platinum Jubilee celebration. “We know that they would have been welcome on the balcony, but what would have been unwelcome is the idea that all eyes would have been on them,” she says.

I don't believe for one moment that the public at large are so excited to see their children, they have so much more to think and worry about!

surely these two ladies aren't that clueless? no one would tolerate them on the balcony, the public aren't gonna love them(him) again and literally no one is interested in the kids. it's only about the queen and the people who serve her and the country with dedication

let me share with you my experince of being a minority in Britain. My Grandparents came to this amazing country after the horrors of the holocaust. Here they were given a chance to raise a family, make a living, buy a house, get free healthcare, free education, religious freedom and more, even though they were very visibly Jewish. I grew up in the 1970's and 80's in London in an all inclusive society, I remember many a bank holiday when all the children of the neigbourhood came out to play together despite our cultural and religious differences. Here we were English, Jewish, African, Asian etc. children playing badminton or football in unison. that is why I was personally insulted with H&M's Oprah interview and behaviour for the past year. The UK I grew up in was all inclusive-(and I'm a minority here). Equal oppurtunities, equal education equal everything if you choose to do so and you dont whine about being treated unfairly when it happens occasionaly, I know all is not perfect but as a whole this country is wonderful to live in. so please leave us in the UK alone. We dont want them back not now and not ever
thank you

Because the Queen and the palace advisors want the Jubilee to be about the Queen and the people of Great Britain and not about family drama. Harry and Meghan and Andrew will be there but will be prevented from commandeering the whole Jubilee. And that's the way it should be.

Ugh…they should stay away and let the Queen enjoy herself.

They could travel whenever they wanted if they wanted to see family to reconnect face to face but the only times you’ll ever hear about they wanting or planning to visit the UK are when there is a massive events!

I’m a Brit and that woman is talking for herself. I don’t know one person that like Methane and her side kick, quite the opposite, they are repugnantly vile.

The Queen and Charles would like to meet the children. But the public at large have zero interest in seeing their children.

What would be unwelcome having Harry and Meghan is how awful they treated his family publicly.

I would say most of the British people would rather Meghan & Harry didn’t turn up for the Queens Platinum Jubilee . Its just unforgivable the way they’ve both told so many untruths & the upset they’ve caused to our wonderful Majesty the Queen .
