Budget Combi boiler conversion- Glow-Worm

Any way in this video we carry out a budget friendly combi conversion using the Glow-Worm comfort 28c. Is it any good? Why is it so cheap?

Nothing wrong with budget boilers. Heat input/flow rates, reliable components and crucially a clean system and you can't put too much QUALITY inhibitor in the system!

Nice video. You commented on how light the boiler was to carry, I wonder if this indicates that the heat exchanger is thinner gauge stainless steel? Hopefully not !

My engineer didn't fit a PRV is this needed? Is this the copper pipe sticking out and what does the pressure release valve do etc

Really informative video on the compacts. Can you range rate them? What are your thoughts on boiler controls? Being ex bg when i left i always fitted hive as it was what I knew. I now try and fit makers controls especially on glow worm and vaillant for efficiency. Just curious on what you do in general?

I do not trust those magnetic limescale preventers at all. Wasted money.
