The last shot is one of my favourites. Sherlock calling Adler THE Woman as a salute; the only woman who mattered, who was equal and beat him, the theme he wrote about her playing like he’s mourning for her as he won’t see her again despite saving her and the rain on the window pouring down where his eyes are as if he’s crying. Beautiful!

The crush between the most intelligent man and woman. Maybe John Watson was wrong after all, saying that Sherlock doesn't understand love. The way Sherlock reached out for his woman is far more 'sentiment' than anything words can explain. Gosh I love this show so much, thanks for the clip Mr. Editor.

I just noticed, in all the text messages she sent Sherlock, if you pause throughout them - she is always asking for dinner. So I'm presuming that's the connection to when he figures out her phone's code and he says: "Sorry about dinner". Haha - the little things in this show!

Sherlock’s pupils dilated twice in the scene at Mycroft’s office where he unlocked her phone after all. Rewatch that scene multiple times just to catch that. Marvelous acting.

That ring says a lot. It served a purpose for the audience in that keeping (instead of deleting it) it showed he liked Irene which fed into the climax of the episode on how we think he fell for with her until he cracked her phone. What’s great is that he kept the ring after he already beat Irene and she hears it herself signifying that he did care for her after all.

Clearly she won. But perhaps it's the curve of her lips that her smile looks almost shy, skittish. She looks like she's not triumphant that she beat him, more like she's actually surprised that she did: that he's there somehow to save her, even more so that he kept the ringtone.
